Quick Question: If they say that the best cure is prevention, then why does it sound absurd to run away from love to save yourself a ‘possible’ heartache?

It’s not…
although, unfortunately love has means that can u find you in deepest seas or highest mountains and leaves you naked in the flash of its light. And then when it is over… right at the moment it releases you to bestow itself upon someone else… right then you learn that all the trouble you went through to keep it at the gates had been absurd.
